i think its in the techinque of brushing your hair.

first brush it downwards, towards your face... then brush towards the right and then left while the hair is still toward your forehead.

do this while letting your hair dry.

You either have a cowlick or naturally curly hair. So you need to choose between a few different options. You can have it prof straightend. They can do partials which does not cost very much. Or you could buy a ceramic flat iron and straighten it every day. It will not damage your hair if you put it on a lower setting, and use a smoothing serum in it. That will protect it! Good Luck!

- Wrap it in a head scarf or head wrap. It might sound too "girlie" but when the hair is towel dryed and then wrapped neatly around the circumference of the head and then held in place with a head wrap, when dry, the hair can be combed down and left looking straight and undamaged by heat.

- try using a light mousse, styling gel, or leave-in conditioner on your hair and then putting it in a low, loose, pony tail. This can tug at the hair and tug it straight by the ponytail and products.

- wear a cap or hat that will keep that part straight so that when you take it off, the curve is straighter.

- use a boar bristle brush with your styling product or a non-static brush that will help the hair become straight naturally.

good luck!

Comb it back over your head. That's what I did when I was younger. I had bangs for a long time, and they never suited me because my hair is wavy. But it's very neat to have your hair go back over your head. I don't even use hairspray or anything. If it's not very long, it will stay up without hairspray. I suggest you wait for it to get about 3 or 4 inches long, and then comb it straight back over your head when it's wet one day. In a day or two (maybe even right after it dries) it will stay up on its own, and then you can get a haircut to make it look right. When the wind blows it will move around if you don't tag it with hairspray. Good luck!
