I know people have asked this a bajillion times, but I'm changing this one a little.

Okay, well I have broken hair (yes I know. shame shame) and new hair and it's shorter than the rest of my hair. And my hair is very fine. Not like thinning hair, the hair is just fine and i have ALOT of it. and my hair is about halfway down my back, but i might cut it just a little.

Kay, i use a straightener everyday and i use Frizz-ease or whatever on it before and after i straighten, i also use hairspray and gel when needed and it looks really great for about an hour or so, depending on humidity. But after a while the broken and new hair starts curling up and so does my normal hair, so it looks really frizzy and horrible. is there a simple product i might be able to use? Please and thank youuuuuuuu!!!!

I have naturally curly, frizzy hair. I just recently started blowing drying my hair...here's what I do/use...

Matix Sleek shampoo and conditioner then I put in Matrix Extreme Styling Cream and Paul Mitchell's Gel. I blow dry, and use the curling iron to straightern. I then use Regis design line molding glue and Spray with Regis Hold Everything or Freeze Spray...I know it sounds like a lot, but it stays straight without frizz...and I live where it is very humid!

I had the very same problem up until a week and a half ago. My Vidal Sassoon straightener stopped working in the middle of using it so I desperately needed to replace it with something fast. I decided to try the Hairart brand since it had pages and pages of positive reviews by users on drugstore.com. I will never regret spending a little more for it since my hair has done a complete transformation and stays this way even in Louisiana humidity. Finally, I am not so worried about my hair frizzing when I walk outside anymore!

get your hair wet and put olive oil all over it and the scalp then the next morning wash it out. that made my hair softer but it doesnt last extremely long.

when you curl your hair, see how the hair stays together and it looks kinda funny, well leave it like that, if you start separating the hair right after you curl it than your hair will go back to normal faster, once you're done curling all of your hair, than start stiling it to how you really want it to look and apply hair spray from far away tho because if you apply it from too close than your hair will get wet and it won't work....

yes hair spray will work right after you curl it but not well. You can also try to wash it then when you get out of the shower put hair gel in it and scrunch it so it will dry curLy and put some hairspray in it to keep it like that.

She has lovely hair, and I can see how you're probably stugging. I have a few suggestions for you--

Micha Barton usually threads the light waves( as in the pics i put there for you). She also has side SWEPT bangs. not side bangs, but side swept so you should start with that. You don't want to over do the curly-ness, so, i suggest you can try sunsilk wavy/curly shampoo. It'll add those 'natural' looking waves. If its not enough, curl a few bits of your hair with a curler on low heat. Ive also noticed that she parts her hair slightly off the center, so you can do that as well. She has very tame hair, and the thickness is perfect. You can achieve this by using hair oils every now and then, and then washing over the weekend. Also, believe it or not, yougurt and bananas will help boost moisture and give you that settled hair without having to thin it.

Curly hair tip! - When your hair is wet pull it back in a low ponytail and flip it under (you know the cool messy loop thing) and let it dry like that. It will just be wavy at the end. I recommend washing it at night that way it can dry overnight.

Once dry, use a large barrel curling iron randomly in hair to get that beachy hair look and follow up with the Big Sexy Hair hairspray.

Rememer to let hair cool after you take out the curling iron for curls to last.

My hair is naturally straighter than a board but do the above and everyone thinks my hair is naturally wavy or curly depending on the size curling iron or hot rollers that I use.

I'm not a guy, but everyone I know always likes my hair better when it's straight. I have corkscrew kind of curls down to the middle of my back. It kind sucks because it's a pain in the butt to straighten.

if you have "long" thick hair you can purchase thinning sheers, go to your local salon or beauty supply and they should be able to help you, maybe get someone to do it fo you. the thinning sheers removes the bulkiness. also try doing a search on thinning sheers. hope that helps!

Nioxin is a personal favorite...it make my hair grow like a weed... also try getting permanent color, it tends to add some body to thin, limp, fine or really straight hair.... it gives a fluff factor, you can fluff it up without it falling too much. also, skip conditioner on the roots, just apply to the midlengths and ends. once again, fluff factor, conditioners can weigh down fine thin hair, so use light ones for thin hair, or volumizing ones... and use sparingly...

2. you can buy a tripple barrell curling iron which is pretty much two curling irons you use as a clamp. i have one and it works great except if you're hair is short like mine it wont work as well unless you know how to do it very well, which takes practice. heres the link...

3. you can learn to use a regula curling iron to creat wavers but they're going to be more natural looking waves such as this girls hair...

what you want to do in order not to get curls and end up with some nice waves like the girl in the picture is to NOT USE THE CURLING IRON LIKE INTENDED...forget the curling iron has the clamp and just wrap the hair around the barrel (kind of like if you were using a long hot tick, which is pretty much all a curling iron really is)...its best if you flip the curling iron upside down because you'll end up holding the ends of your hair at the edge of the curling iron so be careful not to get burned. it looks better if you dont add hair spray because it wont look as stiff so i would try using a curl boosting spray followed by a finishing spray when i finish.

Lots of different things you can do, depends what you like? Look through mags/websites, decide what you want, then use products to make it happen!

go with shorter hair like ashley judd..layers and texturizing...easy to maintain and it will give you lift. Also use a product for your type of hair...and maybe not conditioner all the time...conditioner only lays down the cuticle and conditions it at the same time.

I have naturally curly hair and six months back I went in for a new hair cut, with which i have received a lot of attention from the opposite sex. It is really flattering.

Till then I kept it long and used to tie up as a pony tail.
