How can i curl up my stiff straight hair?

i have tried all types of moose but it just seems like it doesn't work. i need a special moose can u help me with that!!!! i really don't wanna wear rollers because i wan't a more natural look and please if ya'll could help me with a nice hairstyle for curly hear!!! thank you

Curling tongs are great for creating spring-like curls. Use small-diameter tongs for short hair or to make tight curls, and large tongs to create looser curls.

After shampooing with a volumising shampoo, towel dry and apply a volumising or thickening spray. Roughly blow-dry hair until it's 70 percent dry, then clip up the top layers so you can dry the layers beneath. Use a medium, round bristle brush and dry one section at a time.

Start at the nape of the neck and divide hair into 2cm sections. To make your curls last, lightly spritz each section with hairspray, then comb to remove any tangles or product build-up.

Using curling tongs, gently wind hair around the barrel, section by section, rolling from the ends up. Hold for three to 10 seconds, depending on the heat level and your hair texture. Repeat until all hair is curled, then apply a gloss spray.

Once the curls have cooled, run your fingers through to loosen and place them randomly. If you want to lift the roots, backcomb and spritz with natural-hold hairspray.

There is a not so new product out by Herbal Essences called "totally twisted" they have the shampoo, mousse, gel, hairspray,etc. I must say it worked for me!

well it depends on ur hair type as to what kind of product to use. is it fine or thick, coarse or what? that plays a huge role. maybe a mouse isnt for u, maybe u need a stronger gel, or a styling creme, but u need to make sure its for ur hair type, some things could be to heavy for ur hair if it is fine and limp naturally. i would have a consultation with a trusted hairstylist next time u have ur hair trimmed and see what she reccommends.

Well, I love curling my hair, because i have staright hair. I recomend the conair curler, it has coils to help the curl be tighter.

The curls come out looking really natural and loose, really pretty. The Dove body and lift mousse works well, and smells really good and clean!
