From straight to curly hair?

my hair is pin straight and mid back length i hate how it just lays there and when i try to scrunch it it looks really crappy CURLING IRONS DO NOT WORK FOR ME! how do oyu get ur hair curly and nice and are there any tricks to get your hair to look good but not have to pay a ton of money?

mine is the same, use hot rollers, they take a little more time but the curl last all day/night. be sure to sure to use a good hairspray and only spray the ends

well my sister has dead straight hair and all i did to make it curly was i twisted bit by bit and it worked!! but u have to hold it for a long time!! so try that and if it doesn't work then use a curling irons and run hair lotion through your hair and it should stay it should

My hair is wavy/ straight but when i am in the mood for a really curly hair do, i use Triple Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner, and it gets my hair freakishly curly. After i wash it with that, i dry my hair so its not dripping, and then i style it twisting with my finger the curls when my hair drys it looks great.

try putting in some product when your hair is damp and then use a hot curling iron.

--if the curling iron doesn't work, try using some sponge curlers and leave them in while you sleep. The only thing bad about this is that sometimes the curls get too springy and they don't look like curls anymore, they're more like weird kinks.

And if this still doesn't work, Im not sure...maybe your hair just wasn't meant to be curly. Good luck =]
